Greenbank Mews, Greenock
This was a design and build project on a new build basis to provide 18 new dwellings for Oak Tree Housing Association. The project period was 12 months and the construction was timber framed, two storey and contained mixed housing in accordance with the needs of the Association. There were significant infrastructure requirements together with careful landscaping to match the existing environment.
The project value was £1.25million
St Mary’s Church, Greenock
Won on competitive tender, this landmark church was restored to its full glory. Historic Scotland were part funders and monitored the works. Full roof restoration took place including structural, stone work and complete re-roofing and included the accommodation of the internal finishes, stained glass and other features in need of restoration. Completed in 12 months and in accordance with the contract requirements.
The project value was £1.25million
Lady Alice School, Greenock for Inverclyde Council
This project comprised the complete window renewal of this landmark building. The work was carried out for Inverclyde Council and completed within the school summer recess to exacting standards. The work included some structural remedial work to the openings and the provision of double glazed units to a design sympathetic to the existing fenestration and building.
The value of this project was in the region of £400,000
Geilston House, Cardross
The work which was let by National Trust for Scotland comprised the structural rescue and reinstatement of the existing roof covering. The existing slates were sympathetically reinstated after new leadwork was accommodated to provide the first phase of the restoration of this historic building.
The contract value was £425,000
